The Bicester Collection

  • The Bicester Collection, represented by Bicester Village in the UK, as well as 10 other shopping destinations globally, caters specifically to luxury consumers, seeing 41 million guests in 2022.

    Previously, illustration had been intermittently employed by the brand. However, when I joined the company and started providing in-house illustration services, it quickly became an integral aspect of our brand identity. Illustrations began playing a significant role in our membership program visuals as well as various other ad hoc projects.

    During the development phase, I explored different artistic styles for The Bicester Collection illustrations before ultimately settling on a more fluid and expressive approach using digital techniques to create a 'watercolor and pencil' effect. Below, you'll find an example showcasing one of my favourite illustration styles. It struck a balance between intricate detailing and a clean overall aesthetic.
